Personal IoT Network Application (PINAPP) support is a 3GPP feature introduced in Release 18 to facilitate application-layer functionalities for Personal IoT Networks (PIN). A Personal IoT Network is a user-centric, localized network composed of IoT devices owned and managed by an individual, such as smart home appliances, wearables, or personal sensors. PINAPP provides the application framework and capabilities to discover, configure, control, and orchestrate services among these devices.
